If you miss time - Learn the HR message from baby turtle

Your instinct, intelligence, knowledge, your patience, commitment, penance and efforts, all would go defunct if a small error you commit in ‘timing’ of what you propose/intent to do.

Therefore, the perfect coincidence/concordance of time vis-à-vis your effort and intelligence is inevitable for achieving the desired result. Therefore, all the different inter-dependent factors are important and must be considered before one propose to do something. Such knowledge is important for all people in corporate.

Unlike the baby crocodiles where mother crocodile help and guide the young ones to navigate water, the baby turtles have to hatch out and also must navigate their way/path to water, all by themselves. The mother turtle offers no help to them. She lays eggs and then goes away. No one is there to help the young turtles as soon as they are hatched out. Once they are ready to hatch, they cut open the egg shell and then come out from the pit where they were buried by the mother turtle.

The baby turtles are extremely intelligent by birth. They know when to hatch out of the egg, how to navigate the water and when the predators will be around, how to avoid them etc., and accordingly only they plan to come out of the egg.

The baby turtles always choose to come out at night hours. They choose night because night is dark and hence the predators cannot see the baby turtles moving from its nesting site to water. The baby turtles use the cue of temperature to determine whether it is day or night. The weather at night is generally cool.

But the rainy or cloudy day, more often confuse/fool the baby turtles and as a result, the baby turtles are known to make the mistake of treating the day to be as night. As a result of such mistake, most of the baby turtles would emerge out and move towards the sea without realizing the presence of hungry predators around and become an easy feast to the predators, much before they reach safety.

Nature has given the instinct and genius to the baby turtles to break open the egg shell, knows how to come out of the nest, know to determine the night from the day by sensing the weather as cool or hot etc. But sometime the day weather also can be cooler; unfortunately the baby turtles are yet to learn that. Because of the above fact, they pay their life as price. If they had ever used light signals also along with the cue of weather, they could easily avoid committing such grave mistake.

The message is that just by being intelligent and having right instincts, one cannot find success. Besides the domain of ‘you’ there are several factors outside of ‘you’.

One must know and learn all those factors also and only then the success/achievement becomes certain. This is the reason why most people with high level of intelligence, instincts, commitment and hardworking nature, still fails the achieve success.

It is not doing 99 out of 100 things correct but doing all things correct only will help one to achieve the everlasting glory and success.

The success and disastrous failure of some baby turtles convey only such management message to the corporate world. Be sensitive and available to learn the ‘supreme’ management message of nature is only the baby turtles testify to the corporate.
