Llama is a South American animal with wooly hair. They are camel-like animals but do not have a hump. The sturdy animals are domesticated by the people of the Andes Mountains, and are used as pack animals. Each llama can carry about 23 to 34 kgs and can traverse up to 20 miles a day.
