Manipal University unveils ICAS programme
Admissions are open at Manipal University for International Engineering Twinning programme also known as ICAS (International Centre for Applied Sciences). ICAS enables students to pursue first two years of their course at the Manipal University and the last two years in one of the world renowned universities which will offer engineering or an equivalent degree.
The ICAS, a twinning programme, allows students to pursue a project or part of course at any of the universities from USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and France.
Admissions are open at Manipal University for International Engineering Twinning programme also known as ICAS (International Centre for Applied Sciences). ICAS enables students to pursue first two years of their course at the Manipal University and the last two years in one of the world renowned universities which will offer engineering or an equivalent degree.
This programme is designed for students aspiring to graduate in engineering disciplines from some of the best universities in the world. Students can choose from over 16 engineering branches namely architecture, automotive engineering, aviation/aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil/construction engineering, computer/software engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics & communication engineering, industrial/manufacturing engineering, mechanical and mechatronics engineering.
For the programme, Manipal has tied up with University of Massachusetts, Ohio State University, University of Minnesota twin cities, Purdue University, University of Illinois Urbana Champagne, Illinois Institute of Technology, Drexel University, The State University of New York Buffalo, UTS Sydney, City University, London, Lancaster University, Edinburgh Napier University and Queen’s University, Kingston among others.
To apply for this programme, students should have passed 10+2 (CBSE, ICSE, 'A' Levels, IB, HSC, OSSD, American High School Diploma) or equivalent examination with minimum of 60 per cent (aggregate) or 'C' grade in English, Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Electronics as optional subjects in class twelve or from non-English medium of instruction with a score of above 90 in the TOEFL exam.
