Nithiya Sandhiya, a fourth year mechanical engineering student, from Methodist College of Engineering and Technology bagged the gold medal in the recent Osmania University results. On this occasion Giridhar Akula, Principal of the college, appreciated the students for their performances in the recent examinations. He added that students are actively involved in research activities.

Hyderabad: Nithiya Sandhiya, a fourth year mechanical engineering student, from Methodist College of Engineering and Technology bagged the gold medal in the recent Osmania University results. On this occasion Giridhar Akula, Principal of the college, appreciated the students for their performances in the recent examinations. He added that students are actively involved in research activities.


They have also designed a suitcase car, solar cycle and mobile applications with the help of professors.On this occasion, he also mentioned that around 12 companies have signed memorandums of understanding with the college. Talking about the measures taken by the institution to make students industry-ready, Giridhar said that the college has arranged for certificate courses in Oracle, CAD/CAM and C language. The college has also arranged for video lectures through NPTEL, Webinars and virtual laboratory sessions.
