MJCET conducts technical workshop
The computer science engineering department of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) conducted a two-week technical education and training programme and a short term training (STTP) workshop on design of algorithms. The workshop was conducted from May 25, 2015 to May 30, 2015 in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur under National Mission on Education through ICT (Information and Communication Technology).
Hyderabad: The computer science engineering department of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) conducted a two-week technical education and training programme and a short term training (STTP) workshop on design of algorithms. The workshop was conducted from May 25, 2015 to May 30, 2015 in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur under National Mission on Education through ICT (Information and Communication Technology).
The programme was fully sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India. The initiative was undertaken by IIT Kharagpur in order to work with the engineering colleges across the country. Its main aim was to facilitate a platform where professors of IIT Karagpur could teach 10,000 teachers so students who could not secure admission into IITs could also benefit from the faculty of the esteemed institution.
MJCET was chosen to be Hyderabad’s centers for this workshop, which was also simultaneously conducted in 221 centers across India. Professors from IIT Kharagpur delivered live lectures through the internet.
