With the TS govt making mandatory rule for all private schools to use only government textbooks from Class I to X, the private schools are left with no other option that to wait for the government books to be available in the market.

For Class VII to X, few textbooks have been availed but for Classes I to VI textbooks are not yet available. Despite taking orders for printing and distribution of textbooks in May, the private publishers failed to deliver the books on time.

Sreeram said that there are no stocks even with the huge demand for the textbooks as the schools have reopened and the private publishers may take more two more weeks to supply books.
