In the present scenario in India and the world, both men and women work together. Rightly so as no educated girl should sit idle at home. Also in India inflationary trends are beyond government’s control –middle class is earning well and have become quite rich but lower middle class is still finding difficult to meet both ends, if the male alone is a bread winner.

Therefore, women too must contribute financially in running the family. Also, there is massive unemployment in the country and it is very difficult to get a suitable job, that too a remunerative one. The technical/ professional education / degree or diploma is a must in the present situation for a well-paying job.

At present, Chartered Accountancy (CA) can be ranked as one of the top-most technical professions, not only money wise but in position and prestige also. A Chartered Accountant can also have private practice in one or more fields of Finance, Taxation, Management Services Company Law & other allied subjects, Audit & Certification, Consultancy & Arbitration, Non Banking Financial companies’ and Reserve Bank of India(RBI) consultancy, Project Financing and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) etc.

Those boys and girls who have an understanding of Accounting and allied subjects must choose their career in the field of Chartered Accountancy. Though this examination is quite tough to pass if one works hard and has will and determination to excel, it can be cracked. The best part about this course is that it is economical as compared to other professional / technical courses.

There is a good growth of women as Chartered Accountants during the past few decades. I am sure that a woman possessing this qualification will have an edge in getting a job even if she wishes to pursue a private practice. It is a fact that nowadays women are career conscious and do not deny jobs outside their home town–even staying alone and working in big cities all around the country.

In view of increasing importance of financial independence of women in our society and equal status, the young generation both boys and girls can look for a career in Chartered Accountancy -it is not that difficult to acquire this professional qualification at lowest cost with brightest financial future in India or abroad.
