In a second shutdown, protesting against the TRS government for not implementing KG to PG free education for poor students, seven student organisations called for a bandh today. The student organisations including SFI, AISF, TVV, PDSU, PDSU(T), AIDSO and AIFDS have called for shutdown of all the schools in the state.

This is the second bandh called by the student organisations in less than two weeks. The protesting students demanded that the Government implement its KG to PG free education scheme immediately and regularize the private school fees. Recently, the student organisations tried to barge into the CM's camp office but police foiled their attempt. Some schools were forcefully shut down by the student organisations in the state.
