Counselling for Telangana State Eamcet for medical admissions from July 29
The NTR University of Health Sciences on Wednesday announced that the Telangana State EAMCET Counselling for medical admissions will begin from July 29 and end on August 3 while the dates of AP Medical counseling is yet to be decided.

The date will be decided at the meeting with the AP State Council of Higher Education on July 13, said NTRUHS vice-chancellor Dr T. Ravi Raju. According to the pact between the varsity and the TS government, the TS EAMCET medical counselling process will be held by the NTRUHS and the technical support for the counseling will be provided by JNTU-Hyderabad. With 2,550 MBBS seats and 1,000 BDS seats available in the state, only 1,575 seats will be available in the Convenor quota for counseling.
From these 850 are in government medical colleges, 725 in private medical colleges, 400 in private dental colleges and 140 BDS seats are available in government colleges. Dr Raju said that the classes will begin from September 1 while the exact dates for rank wise option entry will be announced in the next two days.
