Combined Graduate Level Tier I Exam On August 9, 16. Staff Selection Commission (SSC), an Attached Office under Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, recruits Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) & Group ‘C’ (Non-Technical) posts in Central Ministries/Departments and their Attached/Subordinate Offices.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC), an Attached Office under Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, recruits Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) & Group ‘C’ (Non-Technical) posts in Central Ministries/Departments and their Attached/Subordinate Offices. SSC has 9 Regional/Sub-regional Offices located in various parts of the country including Southern Region at Chennai. Southern Region caters to the need of the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu & Union Territory of Puducherry.

SSC is conducting Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2015 on 9th & 16th August, 2015 (Sunday) to recruit various Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts such as Assistant in Central Secretariat Service/Armed Forces Headquarters/Ministry of Railways/Ministry of External Affairs, Income Tax Inspector, Inspector of Central Excise, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector of Posts, Auditor, Accountant/Junior Accountant, Tax Assistant. In Southern Region, the exam will be conducted for about 4 lakh candidates at 236 Centres in 12 Cities on 9th & 16th August, 2015 in Double Shift (Forenoon-10 AM to 12 Noon & Afternoon-2 PM to 4 PM) for different set of candidates.

Admission Certificates (ACs) to eligible candidates for the said exam have been issued through post. Facility for downloading duplicate ACs has also been given on our website ‘www.sscsr.gov.in’. Candidates can download the duplicate AC from the link http://www.sscsr.gov.in/CGL2015-TIER1-AC-GET.htm

Candidates have been advised to report to the Exam Centre one hour before the start of the exam. In case of Forenoon Shift, the candidates should report to the Exam Centre by 9.00 AM and the entry gate will be closed at 9.30 AM. In case of Afternoon Shift, the candidates should report to the Exam Centre by 1.00 PM and the entry gate will be closed at 1.30 PM.

State Police Authorities have been requested by Southern Regional Office to provide adequate security cover to all the Exam Centres on the days of exam, A.Murugaiyan, Region Director (SR).
