Vary is a verb meaning something that is different in size, shape, volume, strength depending upon the situation or circumstances.The weight of the vegetables vary depending upon the intensity of the sunlight during the day, or at times the vendor can sprinkle water either to increase the weight of the vegetables or to keep them fresh. Vendors have varying tactics to sell their perishable products.


Vary means changing according to a factor or condition. Prices of vegetables vary from season to season. The fares of air tickets vary from day to day, and month to month. Some people’s ideas on vary from time to time. At the time of elections, political parties aim to reach out to the varying voters: this party or that party?


Vary also means make something different by introducing or adopting a change. He varied his pace of walk on each day till he reached his goal of burning 300 calories an hour. He varied his route to his workplace once in a week for a change.The variants of vary are varies, varied (past tense and past participle), varying, varies (verbs); varyingly (adverb). Varying hare is fox or rabbit that changes its colour to white in winters such as in the northern US and Canada.


Wary means to be cautious, careful. Wary is an adjective: warier and wariest are the superlatives. Wary refers to be guarded against someone or something such as deception of others, artifices and dangers. Weary functions as a verb and an adjective; as an adjective, weary means very tired because one would have put in some effort in doing something; no longer interested in something; boredom or tiredness. The superlatives of weary are wearier and weariest and wearisome (adjectives), wearily (adverb) and weariness (noun).


People are weary of religious divisions (no longer interested). Weary as a verb refers to make somebody impatient, annoyed; become dissatisfied with somebody or something. He is wearied (tired) of commuting everyday to work for 2 hours in each direction. India is warier of China because it was wearied of fighting a war against it in 1962 and the relations vary between the countries: tension and peace on the borders.
