ASRAM Hospital conducted valedictory function for the World Breastfeeding Week at its premises on Friday. Paediatrics professors M Srinvasa Rao and A Vasundhara gave lectures about importance of breast feeding.
As part of the week, essay writing and quiz competitions were conducted for students and sanitization programmes for the pregnant and new mothers were also held. Prizes were given away to the winners.
Dr K Anji Reddy, medical director, Dr K Umamaheswara Rao, Principal of ASRAM Medical College, GSN Murthy, general manager, medical superintendent Dr S Vijaya Mohan Rao participated in the meeting.
