Theatre workshop at St Francis Degree College
Xpressions - the arts club of St. Francis Degree College conducted its investiture ceremony to invest the newly appointed office bearers with their cabinets at its campus in Begumpet, recently. Xpressions is the arts club of the college under which nine clubs- representing various arts departments- function as one entity.

Xpressions is the arts club of the college under which nine clubs- representing various arts departments- function as one entity. On Friday, the literature club, La Fiesta (also a part of Xpressions), conducted a theatre workshop in the college auditorium.

The workshop was conducted by Ramakrishna Shenoy, the founder of Dramanon, a well acclaimed theatre group. Till date, Dramanon has staged 30 productions and 150 shows across the country. Shenoy has appeared in many movies; his most recent work being Nagesh Kukunoor's popular movie "Lakshmi".
The day began with the office bearers receiving their badges from Shenoy after which he went on to deliver a key note speech on theatre and its workings. This was followed by a theatre workshop where students who participated were taught the basics of theatre and its understanding.
The students thus, got a better understanding of acting, voice modulation, body language and facial expressions with regards to acting. Thus, the day ended on a good and satisfying note.
