Highlights

Gitanjali Devshala organised a school fair – ‘GLOBAL VILLAGE’ on Friday. The classrooms came alive as the children showcased their handiwork, posters, activities and various mind games. Topics varied from gods and goddesses to the common man and his daily activities. The students of special section dressed up in traditional costumes of different countries, charmed the audience.

Topics varied from gods and goddesses to the common man and his daily activities. The students of special section dressed up in traditional costumes of different countries, charmed the audience.


The aim of this collaborated activity was to expose children to philosophy, literature, music, art and culture of different parts of the world and to appreciate the diversity of our planet. The highlight was the ‘Mini Olympics’ organised by class 6 and 7, which had the parents participating in traditional games from various countries.


English and Science fair have had a very positive impact on developing awareness in students of cultures of other countries, while promoting an understanding of Indian culture.
