CBIT gets TS notice for violation of admission rules
Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) will be issued notices from the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for alleged violation of rules in filling up category B seats. This instance came to light after a student claimed that a seat belonging to her was filled by a student whose rank was lower than hers.

Earlier, due to the same procedure of violation of Category B admissions, prestigious colleges – MJ College of Engineering and Technology, CMR Group of Institutions, Marri Laxman Reddy Group of Institutions and G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences were issued notices.
The latest complaint has been received against CBIT. Allegations have also been made that the Category B or management quota seats were given to lower ranked students even after announcing that there are no vacancies. TSCHE Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy has directed the notices to be issued to CBIT.
