MICA, India’s premier management institute, announced the admission process for its 2016-18 batch of the flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C). The PGDM-C is a two-year, full-time, residential programme approved by AICTE and deemed equivalent to an MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Ahmedabad: MICA, India’s premier management institute, announced the admission process for its 2016-18 batch of the flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C). The PGDM-C is a two-year, full-time, residential programme approved by AICTE and deemed equivalent to an MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).


It is a differentiated MBA programme that creates leadership through Creative Thinking, Communication and Consumer-Centricity. The admission process for PGDM-C 2016 intake sees major changes in terms of selection cycle, eligibility exams, aptitude test format and Group Exercise & Personal Interview (GE&PI) centres.


The changes are elaborated as below:

1.The selection process for PGDM-C 2016-18 is to happen twice.

2.Candidates will have to take at least one of the three eligibility exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).

3.MICAT will be held only in the computer based format in 14 cities across the country.

4.First phase Group Exercise & Personal Interview (GE-PI) will be conducted at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai and the second phase GE-PI at MICA, Ahmedabad only.


Eligibility

A Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.


How to Apply

Candidates will need to apply online at MICA website www.mica.ac.in. Applications will open on September 10, 2015. For the first phase of the selection process, MICAT will be held in 14 cities and GE-PI will be held in four cities - Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
