Artillery Centre to recruit boys
Artillery Centre (Golconda) in the city will induct young and talented boys under the age group of 11 to 14 years, for its sports company during August 24-28, 2015. It is under a joint venture between Army and Sports Authority of India. There are 10 vacancies each for basketball and boxing and two for athletics discipline.

Hyderabad: Artillery Centre (Golconda) in the city will induct young and talented boys under the age group of 11 to 14 years, for its sports company during August 24-28, 2015. It is under a joint venture between Army and Sports Authority of India. There are 10 vacancies each for basketball and boxing and two for athletics discipline.
Candidates should hold position in individual events and members of the winning and runners-up teams in sports competitions organised at state or national level. Any talented young boy, who hasn’t participated in any event, can also attend for enrollment test. There will be free boarding and lodging, sports kit, school uniform and study material and free education up to class X.
Outstanding sports boys will be enrolled in the Army as Havaldar and JCO after passing class X as per the policy. Interested candidates should report at Boys Sports Company, Artillery Centre, Golconda, on August 24 at 7:30 am, along with original date of birth certificate, certificate from school indicating class studying presently, 6 photographs of candidates duly attested. No tattoo should be inscribed on any part of the body.
