His idolatrous obsession for political power reached zenith. Idyll is a short piece of poetry, prose describing pleasant scene of countryside or pastoral life. Idyll is a pleasant scene, or a pleasant event.


Idyllic is an adjective meaning like an idyll, peaceful and pleasant. Idyllic setting, idyllic marriage, idyllic holidays are really real or marketing ploy to attract tourists? Few couples are idyllically joyful as they are away from the hullabaloo of metropolitan life. Is it possible to live in an idyll? Or should we create an idyll with idols only virtually?
