Sesame Street Preschool celebrates Book Week
In light of the growing need to inculcate the habit of reading amongst kids, Sesame Street Preschools in the city are celebrating Book Week which will conclude on August 21.
Hyderabad: In light of the growing need to inculcate the habit of reading amongst kids, Sesame Street Preschools in the city are celebrating Book Week which will conclude on August 21.
As part of the week long celebrations, students will have access to various children literature books including short stories, books on academic themes like numeracy, language as well as non-academic themes like emotions, environment, social skills and illustration books. Children can pick the book of their choice and spend quality time reading and exploring the characters in the books.
Story telling sessions will also be organised where parents and grandparents will narrate stories and recite poems to the kids. A fun filled trip to a book shop and library is also scheduled for the kids during this exciting Book Week. To mark the finale of the Book Week children will review and talk about the book they liked the most.
