Stress Free Education a Distant Dream

Due to hectic schedules and timings in schools and colleges, kids are always under stress. Going to college at 7.30 and returning home at 7.30 in the evening, they are again forced to study, complete their projects and homework. The burden is causing students to go through depression. These psychological problems and stress will have a long term life effect in their lives and even affects married life.

The reason for stress in students is due to long study hours and even colleges are being run on Sundays. This is an inhuman act, even a machine will need rest, but these human brains are put under a lot of pressure even on Sundays. When will the students relax and these colleges don’t have playgrounds and libraries instead even on Sundays they are put to hard work at colleges. These colleges should be monitored frequently by the education authorities and fine the colleges, cancel the reorganisation of these colleges which function on Sundays.

The attitude of the parents should also change, as the parents are also part of this system, they should stop sending their kids to colleges on Sundays. Only then the education institutions won't conduct classes on Sundays. Parents want best ranks for their kids which is the reason they end up putting more stress on children. With the competition around, we should note that the students who study in colleges that has a holiday on Sunday also get better ranks, then why to over stress children?

The Government should take serious action against Institutions which run on Sunday too. With the stress and pressure mounting, students are committing suicides or are living under depression, this is a social crime. With examinations becoming a do-or-die situation, the examination system and the selection process for institutions are the main reason for this social crime. It should be checked and the marking system should be stopped instead Grading system should be encouraged.
