Around 150 delegates from research, academic institutions as well as manufacturing industries attended the seminar. Eminent personalities from industry, research and academic institutions presented their ideas on ‘Processing and Applications of Advanced Metallic Materials.’
The technical sessions covered topics on advanced metallic materials required for Defence, aero space, nuclear power plants, magnetic materials, nickel, cobalt base super alloys, etc. The seminar is in line with the indigenization of materials towards ‘Make in India’ initiative.
