Greenwood High Student Sandeep Reehal of Grade 6 and his sister Riya Reehal of Grade 3 have won the Bangalore regional competition of Indian Robot Olympiad 2015 in the Elementary category held at Visvesvaraya Industrial Tech Museum recently.

Greenwood High Student Sandeep Reehal of Grade 6 and his sister Riya Reehal of Grade 3 have won the Bangalore regional competition of Indian Robot Olympiad 2015 in the Elementary category held at Visvesvaraya Industrial Tech Museum recently.


The brother-sister team competed against 11 other teams and won by scoring 90 points out of maximum 100 points. They will now compete at the national level competition to be held in New Delhi on Sep 27th. The top teams would represent India at World Robot Olympiad to be held in Qatar from Nov 6th to 8th, 2015.

Previously, Sandeep Reehal and his team had won the Bangalore regional IRO competition in 2011 and was runner’s up at the national level. Their team represented India at WRO 2011 held in Abu Dhabi.
