Science is Fun programme held
Dr K V Rao Scientific Society, which is involved in promotion and encouragement of young students in pursuit of science and research, organised a programme on the occasion of Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam\'s birthday.

Hyderabad: Dr K V Rao Scientific Society, which is involved in promotion and encouragement of young students in pursuit of science and research, organised a programme on the occasion of Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's birthday.
More than 150 school children, guests, scientists, science scholars and researchers were present on the ocassion. A demonstration of science experiments was organised under the title "Science is Fun" by Prof P K Sai Prakash, Bausch and Lomb Institute of Optometrics, LVPEI.
The society developed a theme “Friendship with Science”. Dr K V Rao Scientific Society has also come with very interesting programmes like “Integration of Science and Art” and “Fun with Science Toys”,
"Sun is Fun" etc to promote science and encourage more and more kids to pursue sciences. Speakers who spoke on the occasion remembered the great work carried out by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, particularly engaging in children.
