According to Prof. P. F. Rahman, chief returning officer, Akmal will be the 4th president of the University’s student body. MANUU is a University with all India Jurisdiction. Asjad Sultan, Mohammad Zafar Khan, Mohd. Azfar and Shariqa Ashraf were declared elected for the posts of vice president, secretary, joint secretary and Treasurer respectively. Besides the headquarters, polling was also held at campuses of University at Bangaluru, Lucknow, Bhopal, Srinagar, Darbhanga, Aurangabad, Asansol, Sambhal, Nuh and Bidar.
Swearing in ceremony will be held on 30th Oct. 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at DDE Auditorium.
