10 Outstanding Indian Students Awarded 2015 TOEFL®Scholarships

Ten Indian students, with proven academic excellence, were awarded 2015 TOEFL® scholarships by Educational Testing Service (ETS) today. Scholarships were awarded to exceptional TOEFLtest takers in India who are in pursuit of undergraduate or graduate study in India or abroad. The scholarshipsare worth a total of US$70,000.
Ten Indian students, with proven academic excellence, were awarded 2015 TOEFL® scholarships by Educational Testing Service (ETS) today. Scholarships were awarded to exceptional TOEFLtest takers in India who are in pursuit of undergraduate or graduate study in India or abroad. The scholarshipsare worth a total of US$70,000.
Selected from a competitive pool of applications, finalists were evaluated based on their Englishcommunication skills, academic record, leadership skills and extracurricular activities.The scholarships are aimed at helping students further their education at any of the 9,000+ institutions around the world that accept TOEFLtest scores.
“ETS is excited to announce the winners of the 2015 TOEFL Scholarship Program in India,” said Jennifer Brown, Executive Director of the TOEFL Program. “It is important that we continue to focus on the educational advancement of students in India and assist students who are dedicated to their higher education goals.”
Over the past four years, ETS has awarded US$310,000 to help TOEFL test takers in India further their undergraduate or graduate studies.
