As a part of placement initiatives, the Department of Social Work organized a “Pre Placement Talk on Gandhi Fellowship” with Kaivalya Education Foundation at department of social work, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), here on Wednesday.


Mr. Nitesh Bhagath and Ms Sakshi were representing the organization and interacted with the aspirants of Gandhi Fellowship. Mr Nitesh has presented a brief introduction about Kaivalya Education Foundation and the purpose of Gandhi Fellowship. Both Ms Sakshi and Mr Nitesh interacted with aspirants and clarified number of questions raised by the students regarding the mode and modules of the fellowship. Further, they expressed their satisfaction about the nature of participation and interest shown by the aspirants for Gandhi Fellowship and also expressed their hope for more number of aspirants to be selected for the fellowship.

Dr. Md Shahid Raza, Associate Professor at the department welcomes the guest and encouraged the aspirant to use this opportunity for their future endeavor. Dr. Md Aftab Alam presented vote of thanks. Around thirty aspirants participated in this talk.

The selected candidates or Gandhi Fellows will be give stipend of Rs. 14000 per month along with other allowances for two year. Recruitment for Gandhi Fellowship for Batch 2016-18 is already open from 02.10.2015.
