Sister Nivedita School has observed Literary Week from November 16 to 23 for its students. The festival showcased an array of activities designed to enthuse and inspire young minds to take up literary activities, to promote reading as the key to learning and to provide a platform to develop their passion for literature.

The festival showcased an array of activities designed to enthuse and inspire young minds to take up literary activities, to promote reading as the key to learning and to provide a platform to develop their passion for literature.

The week long celebrations witnessed a variety of literary activities like poetry read out aloud, appreciation, debate, elocution, drama and many more, the most prominent feature being the dramatisation of Julius Caesar by the secondary school students.

The Director of the school, Hari Hara Prasad appreciated the students for their love for literature and the confidence in articulating their opinions and viewpoints. The Principal, Jayanthi Venkataraman expressed her happiness for the inspired participation of the students and said that such programs allow the young students to gain new perspectives of their literary texts and an exposure to the bedrock of imagination and creativity.
