Interacted with the students of Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, Ms Datla called upon the students to find ways and means to garner more knowledge and practical exposure. Ms. Datla explained about how the CII operates, how the industrial policies for the state of Telangana are formulated and the “thrust” areas that the government is enforcing with insights into the skill sets required for the field.
Surging forward in its commitment towards the holistic development of its students, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad organized Leadership Series on Friday IMT, Hyderabad believes in the overall development of its students by making them responsible and innovative leaders with a global mindset and a holistic perspective. The institute provides students with various platforms to connect with industry professionals. It helps them to build networks with them and get the unique opportunity to gain useful insights into the real business world.

The students also interacted with Ms. Datla on how they could apply their theoretical knowledge in the practical world. They also inquired about the industry expectations from a management student. Ms. Datla, also a member of Indian Women Network enlightened the students about “Women Empowerment” and how women are still treated differently in most parts of modern India. She also acquainted the students about how the industry and the institutional sectors in India are working in silos and what would be the benefits obtained if both these sectors work in collaboration with each other.

“We were both inspired and astonished when she revealed her passion for marathon running and cycling, which she continues to pursue along with her hectic work schedule” says a first year finance student.
