CHRYSALIS held At VJIM

Hyderabad: The Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management celebrated the Annual Event “ CHRYSALIS” with 6th C.K. Prahalad Memorial National Quiz Competition and another event the 6TH Peter F. Drucker Memorial All India Debate Competition.

In the C.K. Prahalad Memorial National Quiz Competition ,72 teams from all over the city participated and 6 teams qualified for the semi finals . In the hard fought finals K. Manideep Reddy and V. Sai Sreekar of Bhavan’s Vivekananda bagged the first place and with received a prize money of Rs. 25,000. Syed Manzoor Ahmed and S.M. Muneer Ali of Institute of Company Secretary of India stood second and received Rs. 15,000 as prize money. Srinivas Teja and Mohammad Junaid of Institute of Public Enterprise won the third prize of Rs 10,000.

In the 6th Peter F. Drucker Memorial All India Debate Competition Shalini Baid and. G. Shashank of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management garnered the first place and received the First Prize of Rs. 20,000. S. Abhilash and P. Pratik stood second and received Rs. 15,000 as prize money.. Naveed and Mr. Vikhyat received the third prize and an amount of Rs. 10,000..

The Director of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management Dr. Kamal Ghosh Ray gave away the cheque to the winners. Later in the evening noted Telugu Singer Krishna Chaitanya enthralled the gathering with foot tapping songs and the students made merry of the occasion and performed Flash Dance and DJ Night was held with the students actively participating in it.
