Bhopal to host 3-day national festival for school children
A three-day-long \'National Balrang Festival\' would be organised jointly by the Madhya Pradesh School Education department and the Government of India from December 18-20 at Manav Sangrahalaya here.
Bhopal: A three-day-long 'National Balrang Festival' would be organised jointly by the Madhya Pradesh School Education department and the Government of India from December 18-20 at Manav Sangrahalaya here.
"Nearly 5,000 participants from 25 states, including Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Bihar, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Maharashtra, will take part in it," Commissioner, School Education of Madhya Pradesh government, D D Agrawal, told reporters on Thursday.
Agrawal informed that the state getting first prize in various competitions during the event will be given Rs 51,000, the first runner-up will be given Rs 31,000 and the second runner-up, Rs 21,000 cash award. He said that an exhibition titled 'Prakhar Bharat' will also be organized during the event to showcase different schemes of the government.
