Schools of Gurgaon celebrated Jesus Christ’s birth in various manners by distributing gifts to underprivileged people and by making chocolate ladoos for them as well. Students of Rotary Public School, Arpan, an initiative led by Suncity School and Think Stations celebrated the spirit of Christmas with joy and happiness.

Students of Rotary Public School, Arpan, an initiative led by Suncity School and Think Stations celebrated the spirit of Christmas with joy and happiness.

Class 11 students of Rotary Public School distributed blankets to an old age home situated at Sector 4, Gurgaon. They also distributed muffins and cakes to 225 orphan children of Aarushi Home. Students were dressed in Santa Claus caps and sang various Christmas carols and presented a small skit and described the importance of Christmas bells, Christmas tree and stars. The audience applauded as the students sang “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

Ms. Gulshan Dewan, Principal, Rotary Public School explained the students about the importance of Christmas saying that the festival is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ.

Children of Arpan, a parallel school run by Suncity World School at their campus received Christmas gifts from Santa Claus. Arpan is an initiative led by Suncity to make a difference in lives of underprivileged children.

7-14 year old children from Think Stations, an after school development centre prepared chocolate ladoos for underprivileged children.
