Warangal: Grand ceremony marked the sixth convocation of Chaitanya Group of Colleges in Hanamkonda on Monday.

The event coincided with the silver jubilee celebrations of the College. Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy, Vishwabharathi Education Society Chairman Ch V Purushotham Reddy, its Co-Chairpersons E Vikram Reddy and E Satvika and Secretary-Correspondent Ch Suvarna Devi attended the event held at the Kishanpura campus of the College.
Addressing the gathering, Prof Papi Reddy congratulated the passing out students and asked them to lend their valuable services for achieving a Golden Telangana. Serving the motherland would be the highest duty a person could deliver.
The Groups Chairman, Purushotham Reddy, said the NAAC has awared ‘A’ grade to the College and that the management would work harder to deliver the best education to the students. He presented a report on the achievements and progress of the colleges.
A total of 751 students, who completed courses like BSc, MSc, MCA, MBA among others received their degrees at the convocation. 285 BSc, 105 BCom, 52 BBM, 47 BBA, 96 MSc, 133 MBA and 33 MCA students received their degrees, he said.
