Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has presented Best Student Project 2014 to 15 Award to a team of students of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW).

Warangal: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has presented ‘Best Student-Project 2014-15 Award’ to a team of students of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW).

The students’ team comprising V Sri Raga Madhuri, V Shiva Prasad, K Srikanth Reddy and T Pratheek Reddy were given the award for their project titled ‘Design and Development of Vertical Rotary Parking System’.
The project was aimed to address parking problems in Smart Cities.

TCS Vice-President and Regional Head V Rajanna presented the award to the students at a ceremony held at TCS Hyderabad campus. The award comprises a gold medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 20, 000.
The project was guided by Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering P Srikanth. The College Secretary and Correspondent V Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P Narayan Reddy, Director Y Manohar, Principal K Guru Raj and Mechanical Department Head K Eashwaraiah congratulated the students.
The KITSW Training and Placement Officer D Harikrishna and others were present at the awards ceremony.
