In the present world, there is a great impact of social media on school students as well as college students. It is impacting the life of the students both negatively and positively. However we are thinking that the social media is useful and entertainment to us, but as much as it is useful it is also harmful in many ways.

The positive impact and the positive use of social media are helpful to the students and it also provides abundant knowledge about the world. The positive use of social network will increase the rate and quality of collaboration for students. They are better able to communicate or share information quickly.

This can increase productivity and help them to work well in groups. As the present day students need to survive in the business world in future the social networking media will give some of the student`s skills to mature much more regarding the knowledge of the world and also to live better life in the future.

By the use of the social media networks, the students and the children will get more familiar with the use of computers and electronic devices, through this they can be engaged in technology and as well as education. The positive use of the social media will more helpful to the students of the present generation.

As well as the positive use of the social networking sites, the students are also stepping in the negative use of the web sites. The students of now a day are extensively using the social media for the purpose of education and learning that means they not engaged in thinking totally, they depending on the websites.

Due to this the students can lose the power and skills of thinking especially the school students, because the school age i.e. the age of adolescence will help more in thinking. This is why it spoiling some of the student which will effect on his/her career. The children and the youth are mostly participated in online chatting through various web sites.

It is sticking the students towards it by disturbing their concentration on studies. Through this the students also not interested in the participation of outdoor activities like games, cultural activities etc, but that is not good and fair. Hence, all the students and youth should use the social networking sites only in the positive way that too only for necessary things.

One should not spend much time before the computers or any other devices by chatting with others and by entering in to undesirable websites. Our future is in our hands, so one can make one’s own design according to one’s wish.
