INFOCUS off to a bright start
Popular Telugu film actor Nikhil Siddharth was the chief guest at the 8th annual INFOCUS –The two- day national film festival held at Loyola Academy Degree and P.G. College on Thursday by the students of the Mass Communication Department.
Hyderabad: Popular Telugu film actor Nikhil Siddharth was the chief guest at the 8th annual INFOCUS –The two- day national film festival held at Loyola Academy Degree and P.G. College on Thursday by the students of the Mass Communication Department.
Nikhil spent good time with the students telling them about his journey to the film industry, jived to the music with them and clicked selfies. Earlier, the opening ceremony started with the introduction about the fest and the prayer by the choir followed by lighting of the lamp to start the programme.
“Infocus is a miracle and it brings out creativity from your mind and it also compares creativity to chiseling stones “said Father Joji Reddy, Principal. The Dean of Arts, V Bhaskar Rao explained about the course, its technology and its process.
The department report was announced by the Head of the Department by K. Vivek. The other events of the day were a cultural performance by the students like dance and music, photography exhibition and a ‘Photo Bhoot’. It ended with the Shrey Photography and Group and Kamal Kiran who took a seminar on commercial photography.
