The Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), School of Social Science in University of Hyderabad (UoH) has organised a 10- day national research workshop on \"Research Methodology Training Course for Ph.D. Students in Social Sciences\" during January 12-21, sponsored by the ICSSR, New Delhi.

Hyderabad: The Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), School of Social Science in University of Hyderabad (UoH) has organised a 10- day national research workshop on "Research Methodology Training Course for Ph.D. Students in Social Sciences" during January 12-21, sponsored by the ICSSR, New Delhi.

The participants, who are pursuing Ph.D. in various Universities across India, have been selected from nearly 20 different social science disciplines of around 20 Universities in India. These participants are expected to learn on various social science research methods for 10 days in this residential programme.

The training course Director, Dr V Srinivasa Rao who is also Asst. professor in CSSEIP in the University, said that senior faculty will train these participants for next 10 days.

There would be a one-day field orientation on data collection process at Pochampally village in Nalgonda district. Prof Amaresh Dubey from JNU will inaugurate the programme by delivering the Key Note Address on ‘Growth, Inequality and Poverty in India’ to be held in Dr BR Ambedkar Auditorium.

Prof Utsa Patnaik, an eminent social scientist from JNU, will deliver the valedictory address on the last day of the training course i.e. 21 January 2016, said Dr Sreepati Ramudu, the head of CSSEIP.For any further details, contact Dr. V Srinivasa Rao on 9492293299.
