Dr. Shakeel Ahmad takes over as new registrar of MANUU
Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Joint Secretary at the University Grants Commission, took charge as the new Registrar of Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
Hyderabad: Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Joint Secretary at the University Grants Commission, took charge as the new Registrar of Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
He was handed over office by In-charge Registrar Prof. S M Rahmatullah on Monday forenoon. Dr Ahmed has extensive experience in Education Management and Administration. He has earlier worked with the UGC as its Deputy Secretary and Deputy Registrar with Jamia Hamdard and Delhi University.
Dr Ahmed is on the management committees and boards of numerous colleges and educational institutes across the country. He has written a book, Human Resources Development in Universities, in 1999. His research papers and articles have been published in several research journals and other publications.
Dr Ahmed is a graduate in commerce from Aligarh Muslim University and post graduate in the same subject from Osmania University. He has done Ph D from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1998.
