Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – Hyderabad has entered into a research partnership agreement with Ontario-based McMaster University, which will generate opportunities to create intellectual property through innovation and to commercialise research outcomes.
The agreement is one of the several such pacts valued over than 11.5 million dollars signed during the current visit of Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario, Canada in India. Speaking at a plenary session attended by Ontario delegates and representatives from Indian companies Wynne said there is a long history between India and Ontario of working together — generating trade, jobs and economic growth for both regions.
