IMT holds alumni meet

Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad conducted its ongoing Chapter wise Alumni Meet today at Avion Hotel, Mumbai. The event was marked by the presence of over 35 Alumni not only from Mumbai but from various neighboring states currently working with corporate bigwigs like SBI Life, Capital First, Capital Via, Meraevents.com, Tata Consultancy services, Videocon D2H, XL Dynamics, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, CITI Bank, Deloitte, Cap Gemini, eClerx Services etc. This meet was conducted with the help of the Alumni Committee. Mr Satish Ailawadi, Director IMT, Hyderabad, faculty members and students.

Welcoming the alumni on the occasion, Mr Satish Ailawadi, Director of IMT, Hyderabad underscored the need to organize alumni meets for academic institutes. He endorsed the need for an Alumni Association, the purpose of networking with each other during such meets and the need to mentor the current students of their alma mater. He also stressed on creating an Alumni Cell as a registered non-profit legal entity which would gradually be driven by students alone. The Director mesmerized the students with his endearing speech after which the alumni relived memories.

It was inspiring indeed to watch them reach the astonishing levels of success and growth they had achieved in their respective lives. They shared stories not only of their college days but also of their work life which was both motivating and captivating as well.

The Alumni Committee ensured that each one of our Alumni left happy and with a memento to reminiscence. The programme was a huge success with each of the Alumni validating the need for such a meet.
