Shantipur (WB): The meritorius student from Shantipur Radharani Nari Siksha Mandir wrote her paper lying on a table at the examination centre Shantipur Oriental Academy and answered 80 per cent of the 100 marks. The HS Council has granted her an extra hour, a examination-charge of the centre said.

The spunky girl's mother Supriya said though her daughter was eager to study in Science, the practical classes and laboratory works would pose problem and hence she took admission in Arts. While she had attended regular classes in class eleven,

she faced problem to attend classes after promotion to 12 with the class room located at first floor but still scored 75 per cent marks in last test Examinations. Her father Uttam Mahaldar is an Assistant Sub-Inspector in Kolkata Police.

"We are proud of Piyasha. She is an example for all differently abled teenagers as well as girls," the headmistress of Shantipur Radharani Nari Siksha Mandir said.
