The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, has approved a fund of `27 lakh to carry out a research on ‘Machining and erosion studies of red mud an industrial waste based polymer matrix composite’ to Dr M Uthayakumar, Prof & Head, Department of Automobile Engineering as principal investigator.
