MJCET celebrates National Science Day

Hyderabad: MuffakhamJah College of Engineering and Technology celebrated the National Science day-2016 on Saturday.
The National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28 every year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, which is also being his Birthday.
The theme for the occasion was “Raise Public Appreciation on Scientific issues for the Development of Nation”.
The event has been presided by Basheer Ahmed, Director of MJCET and Prof S V Manorama, Senior principal scientist Professor Academic of Scientific Innovative Research at IICT, Hyderabad.
Prof. Shaik Zameeruddin, coordinator of the function has explained the importance of National science day and enlightened the gathering on the t0heme of the function.
Monorama shared her vast experience in the science and technology especially “Nano Materials” with very fine examples with power point presentation.
K N Krishnan, Principal and Prof M A Khadeer, HOD of Physics along with Faculty members are present at the function
Programme ended with the Vote of Thanks by Shaik Kareem Ahmed.
