Director of Government Exams, Surender Reddy stated that students who turn up late for the exams won't be permitted into the examination centres adding that the students should be dressed in plain dresses as school uniform is not allowed. In order to curb the malpractices in exams, CCTV cameras have been installed at one centre in each district. The evaluation of the answer sheets would take place on April 11 while the results are to be declared within seven weeks of completion of the exam.

From the total of 5.56 lakh students, 5.21 lakh students are regular candidates and 35,000 students are writing the exams again. The Director even revealed that the students who are appearing for the exam from places with no connectivity will be provided with transportation.
