Elaan, the annual extravaganza of Apeejay Stya University (ASU), which provides a platform for students from various institutions to exhibit their talent, was held in the University’s campus.
Elaan, the annual extravaganza of Apeejay Stya University (ASU), which provides a platform for students from various institutions to exhibit their talent, was held in the University’s campus.
Adding value to the academic rigour, the entire event was organised and managed by the students of ASU, in consultation with the faculty members &mentors. Students from various reputed universities and colleges participated in this vibrant three-day inter- college annual festival. Some of the institutions included GD Goenka University, K.R. Mangalam University Manav Rachna University, Aravali College of Engineering, World Institute of Technology, YMCA, NDIM, Jamia Millia Islamia University, and some colleges from Delhi University.
While the first day of the event showcased a ‘Sports Fest’, consisted of contests like long jump, discus throw, shot-put and high jump, the second day of the event was titled ‘Tech-Shield’ which exhibited students’ technological projects. A Thyroid and health check-up camp & Pharmacy Quiz, among other exciting events were also among the key attractions of the day. The final day of the event, Tarang, was dedicated to art and culture & witnessed many mesmerising events like design exhibition, fashion show, singing, dancing, Mishmash, Ad Mad, Street play and face painting, among others.
Tarang is the biggest cultural event of ASU which comes under the Elaan festival. Among other winners from the major categories, were: Vividha Group from YMCA for Street Play and Gaurav & Deoyani Bhardwaj from ASU for being the Best Male and Best Female Models. The winners were presented with trophies and attractive cash awards.
