The NorthCap University, Gurgaon recently organized a farewell ceremony for the final year students of Engineering, Management and Law.

The NorthCap University, Gurgaon recently organized a farewell ceremony for the final year students of Engineering, Management and Law. The adieu was full of excitement of entering into a new, matured and professional world, but was also mixed with the pain of departing from the alma mater. The event was graced by the presence of the Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Prem Vrat; Pro Vice-Chancellor, Brig SK Sharma (Retd); Registrar, Col Bikram Mohanty (Retd);Directors of Schools, Heads of Departments and faculty members.

Student representatives from different Departments and Schools remembered some of the old memories, with mixed emotions. The outgoing students also expressed their feelings for their Alma Mater and shared some of their fondest memories.The event witnessed wonderful dance and song performances by the students who brought the evening live by their acts. Dressed to the nines, the students were all in high spirits as they clicked away on their cameras, capturing moments of joy, laughter and smiles for posterity and wanted to make the best of the last few hours as students at the University.

The outgoing students were also given different titles by the pre-final year students as they were called on stage one by one and given a memento. Tushar Girdhar and Aditi Khera were given titles of Mr and Miss Popular, while the titles of Mr and Miss Eve were given to Jagdeep Singh Sapra & Manav Bopparai (jointly) and Kriti Goel.

Speaking on the occasion, Brig Sharma praised the outgoing students on their performance throughout their tenure at the University and wished that the students would perform well in the future and would make their alma mater proud. He said that our students have proven their success in different fields and made the University proud. Many of them have also become successful entrepreneurs. He hoped that the tradition will continue.
