NAAC Grade “A” for MANUU Again
Maulana Azad National Urdu University has been awarded the highest “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MANUU has secured 3.09 CGPA points in the second cycle. This is for the second consecutive time that the University has been awarded “A” grade by NAAC.

Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor in his message has congratulated the students, teachers and staff for this mega achievement. The only university in the country providing higher education through Urdu Medium has with stood different tests and evaluation to come out with flying colours. This is no mean achievement, he remarked.
Award of “A” grade to MANUU for the second successive time also indicates that Urdu as a medium of instruction is second to none, says the Vice-Chancellor. He also stressed the need to promote an environment of knowledge, research and debate within the University.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Registrar also welcomed the “A” grade by NAAC to the only Urdu University of the country. MANUU offers courses in modern subjects like Information Technology, Computer Engineering besides Arts and Social Sciences through Urdu Medium. Pass outs from MANUU are well placed in the market, he pointed out indicating that good placements are not a hindrance to students from Urdu medium background.
Last Date for entrance based courses at MANUU
Hyderabad:- Last date for online admissions in Ph.D., M.Phil and other entrance based regular courses is 31st May 2016. Courses in which admissions are offered through entrance include all Ph.D. and M.Phil including Post Graduation (Journalism and Mass Communication; MBA; MCA; M.Tech. (Computer Science) & M.Ed.), Under Graduation (B.Ed. & B. Tech. (Computer Science)), Professional Diplomas (Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.); Diploma in Civil Engineering; Diploma in Computer Science Engineering; Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering ;) & Diploma in Information Technology).
Ph.D. is being offered in English; Hindi; Translation Studies; Arabic; Persian; Women Studies; Public Administration; Social Work; Islamic Studies; Education; Management; Mass Communication & Journalism; Computer Science; Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy; Mathematics and Zoology whereas M.Phil. program is available in Urdu; English; Hindi; Translation Studies; Arabic; Persian; Women Studies; Public Administration; Political Science; Islamic Studies; Education; Management and Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy.
The online application forms for all programs are available at www.manuu.ac.in. The cost of application form is Rs. 300 for general and for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates it is Rs. 200/-. All payment only through challan and online is acceptable. Challan forms are available on university website.
