The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous organisation of University Grants Commission, has awarded the highest NAAC Grading of ‘A’ to the Army College of Dental Sciences, (ACDS), Secunderabad.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous organisation of University Grants Commission, has awarded the highest NAAC Grading of ‘A’ to the Army College of Dental Sciences, (ACDS), Secunderabad.

This is the First Cycle of assessment for ACDS. A three member high level expert team visited Army College of Dental Sciences, to evaluate the learning, academic, co-curricular and governing activities and other stringent criteria laid down by NAAC and awarded the ‘A’ grade with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.06. The grading was released on 25 May 2016.

Army College of Dental Sciences is a premier educational institute of Army Welfare Educational Society (AWES). It was established in 2001. It imparts dental education to Under Graduates (UG) Courses and Post Graduates (PG) Courses. Five batches of BDS courses each of 40 students and three batches MDS courses in six departments are conducted. This is an exceptionally outstanding achievement for ACDS said the Principal, Dr KV Ramana Reddy.
