Why blue whale is blue is colour? Why the top leaders and CEO’s can be louder, bolder and vociferous, oratorical and interactive, whereas other employees in corporate are relatively silent, shy and fearsome?

The above scene is more visible especially during corporate meetings/reviews. Some CEO’s further urge the people to speak and ask them why their subordinates feel shy to speak in the meetings. People may wonder how the CEO’s are quite free and bold and not others. Sometime the HR culture of such corporate also might be quite good.

To know the answer to the above question, nature wants the corporate man to learn about both a little physics and biology.

The sunlight is combination of several (7) colours, called VIBGYOR. The different colour spectrum has different traveling length in water. The blue light/colour can travel and reach even the bottom of the ocean whereas other colours like, red cannot reach great distance. So is black. This is all about spectral property of light.

The ocean due to its big ecosystem and availability of perennial source of water, diversity of life in ocean is also quite high. Interestingly, equal to the proportion of diversity of species in marine world, threat and predators are also there.

One of the important ways of avoiding the threat is not to get seen by the predators. This is true for predatory also only then they can easily catch the prey.

Less visible to others is the best method to win. Blue colour can be seen well. Imagine, if all small animals in the sea are made in blue colour means, they can be seen easily even if they prefers to hide in the depth of the sea. Such situation will make them vulnerable to predators and jeopardize their life.

Only to avoid getting seen by others, most of the marine animals are predominantly either black or red in colour.

From the above science, answer to the question of why and how the blue whale is blue in colour can be easily obtained. The blue whale can afford to be in blue colour as it is the biggest animal in the world. Since it is so big and bigger than most animals in the sea, nature has made it to be in blue colour. Even though blue whale can be easily seen by others, they cannot pose any threat to the mighty blue whale. Further, such colouration of blue whale also serves an early warning to other animals.

The top leaders and CEO’s do not have much threat from people who are working below them, in any corporate. Hence CEO’s can be loud, bold and vociferous. They need not be shy because they have none to fear. Therefore they like to be seen in most occasions but not others.

The people who speak less, calm, shy and silent in most corporate meetings need not grieve why they couldn’t speak or interact like CEO’s. The positional authority, freedom and responsibility do automatically give such capabilities to people and it si not just knowledge alone. Every one when gets into such position, they could become so because the position often gives such confidence to people.

Remember, certain capabilities and uniqueness of people are ‘position’ linked or related. Hence one should not feel sad and get de-motivated for the fact that they do not have certain capabilities of their CEO’s. It is not true. The CEO’s have the authority and power, hence either we see such capabilities or they could freely display.

Instead of self whipping, get ready to display such capabilities, you will become successful. Learn the wonderful of message of nature, that's why it had engineered blue colour in blue whale.
