Fellowship of Telangana Academy of Sciences awarded
The Telangana Academy of Sciences, Hyderabad, elected Prof. Sadanandam Abbagani, former Dean Faculty of Science, Kakatiya University for the fellowship of the academy.
The Telangana Academy of Sciences, Hyderabad, elected Prof. Sadanandam Abbagani, former Dean Faculty of Science ,Kakatiya University for the fellowship of the academy.
Prof. Sadanandam Abbagani is currently working as Professor of Biotechnology, UGC-BSR Faculty Fellow in Kakatiya University Warangal. He obtained his Ph.D. from Kakatiya University in Botany in 1982. He has received DAAD fellowship 1986-87. Association of Commonwealth Universities fellowship1993-94 and UNESCO Biotechnology Fellowship 1997. He has guided 24 students for their Ph.D. Degrees.
He has published 89 research papers in National and International journals. He has completed 15 Major Projects. He has received many awards such as UGC Research award,(1999-2002).Honorary Advisor, DAAD Germany (2006-2009), Andhra Pradesh Scientist award, (2008) and Andhra Pradesh Best Teacher award (2009).
