Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture (CULLC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University in collaboration with “Pratham Books” is organizing a Three day workshop on “Urdu Creative Writing for Children” from 27th to 29th August 2016 at conference hall of the centre.

Hyderabad: Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture (CULLC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University in collaboration with “Pratham Books” is organizing a Three day workshop on “Urdu Creative Writing for Children” from 27th to 29th August 2016 at conference hall of the centre. The workshop aims to encourage and motivate young generation to write Children’s Literature in Urdu. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz will inaugurate the workshop today on 27th August, 10.30 a.m. at CULLC.

Meanwhile, CULLC is also organizing Mahfil-e-Dastangoi on 30th August, 2016, 6.00 p.m. in DDE Auditorium, University Campus.

According to Chief Consultant, CULLC, “Dastangoi” an old art of storytelling will be performed by renowned artists Poonam Girdhani and Ankit Chadha from Delhi. The Dastangoi will be directed by Mahmood Farooqui and produced by Anusha Rizvi.

This show of the Dastagoi will be telling tales about the Childhood of Amir Hamza and Amar Ayyar as well an episode from Tilism-e-Hoshruba regarded as classic of Urdu Literature.
